To effectively and efficiently implement the goals, CharityWorks, volunteers commit their time, talent and resources. Members forge relationships within the membership team to make each year a resounding success. Whether working on a committee or selecting the annual partner, our members are the heart of CharityWorks.

ADMINISTRATION

This committee manages the nuts and bolts of CharityWorks daily existence. Tasks include finance, database, membership information, mailing lists, disbursement, phone queries, forms, letters and coordination of all activities within CharityWorks


DEVELOPMENT

This committee is responsible for working with the annual partner and the Advisory Board in the development of sponsors. Tasks include writing and producing all fundraising materials; managing fundraising activities and communications, coordinating with sponsors and performing all tasks related to fundraising.


DREAM BALL

The Ball is one vehicle used by CharityWorks to raise money to benefit the annual partner. It takes hundreds of volunteer hours to produce this incredible extravaganza. Make a difference by joining one of the Ball committees
  • Auction: This committee solicits and coordinates all donations to the live and silent auctions for the Ball, prepares all materials related to the auction, decorates and sets-up the auction space at the Ball and ensures that all tax receipts and thank you letters are sent to all eligible participants.
  • Invitation Mailing: Eight weeks prior to the annual Ball, CharityWorks members join together to assemble the invitations for mailing, The process, lasting about 3 days, is a non-stop effort of work, fun and great food.
  • Reservations: This committee coordinates the placement of both corporate and individual guests. The evening of the Ball, the reservation committee greets guests and provides seating assignments.



PARTNER SELECTION

This committee manages the process of selecting the three semi-finalists to be presented to the Advisory Board for annual partner selection.


PUBLIC RELATIONS

This committee promotes CharityWorks, its events, partners and community involvement through the use of all media, including print, radio, television and online publications.


VINTAGE WINE TASTING

This committee organizes the CharityWorks Wine Tasting event from inception to conclusion. Tasks include coordinating the wine purchase, working with the chefs, organizing the auction and handling the logistics of the event.
