2009 Dream Ball - The Heart of CharityWorks
National Building Museum, Washington, D.C.
Party goers around the region challenge CharityWorks each year to design and produce a one-of-a-kind event that exceeds all previous year expectations. Co-Chairs Barbara Wynne and Robin Fitch and their committees are well underway in planning an evening to remember!
The National Building Museum will transcend from its museum columned interior to a fabulous and extraordinary celebration of the senses for CharityWorks Dream Ball guests to enjoy. Using the warm colors of fall hues, the site will retain the magical traditions of years past. This year marks the 10th Anniversary of CharityWorks and is appropriately themed "the Heart of CharityWorks". The theme signifies the gift of giving- back from the hearts of our donors, friends, partners and community. The sparkle of the event reminds us that dreams do come true. Founder of CharityWorks Leah Gansler says so eloquently, "with dreams come responsibility".
The 2009 charity partner is Friendship Public Charter School. The proceeds of all 2009 CharityWorks signature events will support early childhood centers of excellence at Friendship Public Charter School. These centers will give young learners in the District's least-advantaged neighborhoods a chance to forge their futures long before the community around them gives up on them.
Participate at this year's 2009 Dream Ball and help these young students reach their dreams!
