Nordstrom Chooses CharityWorks to be recipient of Fashion Show funds in 2004. Proceeds will benefit CharityWorks and its 2004 partner, the Maya Angelou Public Charter School, See Forever Foundation.

Nordstrom will present a classic runway fashion show of twelve, yet to be announced, designers at the newly renovated Andrew Mellon Auditorium, Washington, DC. The champagne and dessert evening promises to be a spectacular event.

Tickets are $100 and will be limited. Please contact the CharityWorks office to receive an invitation as there will be no advance sales. Invitations will be mailed the second week of May.

2004 Wine Tasting & Auction

The 100 Club

Only 100 tickets are available for this intimate tasting of ten wines rated 100 points by Robert Parker. Learn from Pierre Rovani, a brilliant taster, as he describes the wines and offers insights on the balance, blends and structure of these wines. Mr. Rovani has been responsible for the tasting and criticism of more than half of the world's wine producing regions.

  • 6:00 p.m. -- Reception in the home of Jim Kimsey
  • 6:45 p.m. -- Tasting
  • 8:30 p.m. -- Auction

The home of Jim Kimsey will serve as the venue for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to taste some of the most famous wines in the world. The champagne reception will be followed by a fabulous sit down dinner. Jeff Bubin of Vidalia, Roberto Donna of Galileo, Todd Gray of Equinox, Michel Richard of Citronelle, Jeffrey Tunks of DC Coast and Ten Penh and Robert Wiedmaier of Marcels will prepare sumptuous foods to compliment the selected wines.

We are fortunate to have jack Davies from See Forever and Anjanette Murphy from CharityWorks as co-chairs. PricewaterhouseCoopers has generously agreed to be the presenting sponsor of the event.

Valet parking at the site is complimentary. However, CharityWorks and See Forever promote safe driving and would like to encourage guests to make alternative arrangements for getting home at the end of the evening.

Tickets are $1,500 per person.

* The 100 Club will be tasting 10 different wines rated 100 points by Robert Parker.
